Get straight answers about how we run Mautic + SES so you can launch fast and stay safe.
No. We host on our managed infrastructure for performance, security, monitoring, and predictable results. You still own the AWS/SES account.
We route mail at the server level. Our Linux/cPanel mail transfer agent (Exim) is configured to use Amazon SES as a smarthost for the specific hosting account that runs Mautic. That means every message sent by that account (via localhost/SMTP) is relayed to SES over TLS with SES SMTP credentials. This keeps Mautic simple (no extra plugins), preserves full SES compatibility (throttling, bounces/complaints), and lets us enforce anti-abuse policies centrally. If you prefer, we can also point Mautic directly to SES (SMTP or API) per app.
Included: hardened Mautic 6.x, DNS/SES setup, one domain + one sender, crons, SSL, basic backups, monitoring/alerts.
Not included: AWS/SES costs, campaign design/automation, Zender licensing/phone numbers, dedicated IPs, or 24/7 support (all available as add-ons).
We configure SPF/DKIM/DMARC, Return-Path, SNS bounces/complaints, sane rate limits, and warm-up. You keep list hygiene; we can set alerts so you stay below risk thresholds.
You get Mautic admin + cPanel access; we manage the underlying server, but can get a contained terminal version.
